Do you ever work in color?

I have worked with color paper in the past, but I always come back to white. I like the simplicity and the depth of shadows that white paper affords. I suggest layering the art on a colored background if you want to achieve a bold framed look.

production times

Custom order lead times depend on the size of the piece and my current workload. Each art work is made by hand sketching and cutting, which can take weeks to complete. The best way to get a solid timeline of how long a made-to-order piece will take is to contact me for an estimate.

How Much does your artwork cost?

Similar to production time estimates, it depends on the piece commissioned. Larger more labor intensive pieces will fetch a higher price point, but make a bigger impression in your home and are a wonder to behold. Email me to discuss your art needs and to get a price quote.

DO YOU EVER MESS UP?

Only once! Since I preplan my designs, the cutting portion is more methodical and I typically follow a clear path. Before starting a particularly tricky area to cut, I run through the steps in my head to ensure accurate cuts. Once I accidentally cut through an area of paper that was supposed to stay attached, luckily it was a small piece and was easy to reproduce.

HOW TO FRAME?

I am currently working on a Framing Guide to include with any purchase of my work.
